Casa Con Vistas provides the best of all worlds, being quiet and semi rural, but with a taste of ‘real’ Spain, central to a host of local of towns and cities as well as stunning nature trails, cycling routes and historical sites. The spectacular Andalucian lake districts of Iznajar and Ardales are a 30 minute and 1 hr drive away. These areas are stunning and not saturated with tourists, with beaches and watersports on offer it will feel like a day at the beach.
Rio Frio
Nearest Village is Rio Frio, a 5 minute drive or if you feel energetic and want to burn off some calories after a visit to one of the 6 restaurants and bars, then it’s a nice 45 minute walk on quiet country roads……gradually uphill though so be prepared for some rests to take in the scenery!
Rio Frio is home to a world renowned Caviar farm and is also famous for its fresh trout. Some of the food in these local restaurants is, in our opinion, worthy of a Michelin star but at a fraction of the cost.
We recommend getting down to the village in the morning and visiting the local bakery Panaderia Malagon to grab a coffee, a fresh pasty and some bread, maybe try the famous local sweet treat, the ‘Roscos De Loja’.
